Looking for a recommendation for a fishing lodge in Canada. Want to celebrate a birthday with a week of fishing in a new place. Any recommendations for a full service lodge and maybe a guide to get started?

Thanks

I have spent many happy hours for many years out of Angle Outpost at Angle Inlet, MN. It is in the NW angle on Lake Of The Woods.

Lake Of The Woods is the best fishing hole on the planet.

Been going WhiteBirch Lodge for years--Sioux Narrows ontario--Great place---Cabins are nice and the food is awesome--Guides have shown me loads of fish over the years and you cant ask for a more friendly staff---Would HIGHLY recommend them!!!!

Re: Canada Fishing Lodge - recommendation?

What time of year?
Any idea what general area of Canada as it's a quite large country? (You don't list where your from)
Drive to or fly in?
Do you have preferred fish species?
More rustic or more 5 star.
Strictly fishing or do you need nearby activities for the wife/family.
Answers to these question may help give you recommendations more suited to your requirements.
