Can you tell me what kind of boat this is?

I have had this boat sitting around and it was given to me by a friend. I was trying to figure out what kind of boat this is so I can look at some pics before I begin to restore it. Let me know what you think.

I'm not positive, but I'd say it looks like a late '50's early '60's Dorsett. Maybe someone else can chime in and confirm or correct my guess.

Can you tell me what kind of boat this is? Yes, a very old one. (joking, of course), sorry but I've never seen one like it before...does appear to be a 60's style though.

Awesome looking boat! Not sure the make... check over at fiberglassics. I really hope u tackle the restore on that beauty; with a picture heavy thread of course. She would definitely be a head turner. Any identifying marks or plaque in the boat? Love the lines!

Do you think I would be correct if I said it was a 1956 Glasspar Delmar?

The more I look at it, the more I'm thinking it is a Glasspar. The exact year and model I have no idea, but mid '50's is in the ball park.

Now im going to start my title search. I have contacted the Texas Parks and Wildlife. They are suggesting I find the owner that the boat was registered to last then get a letter stating they have no financial interest in the property.
I need to find the HIN # any possible leads of where to start?

There is a good possibility that boat does not have a HIN because of its age. If its there, it is usually in the upper right hand corner of the outside of the transom.

That windshield is supposedly the rear glass from a Studebaker!
