Can you save your position in a thread?

I'm reading a number of restoration threads - some of which are quite lengthy. Can I save my position in a thread (for example - first post on page 16, or post 237 of a thread)?

You can't actually lock your post in at any position, and the thread may grow in number of pages, but if you posted #32 (for example) in a thread, that number won't change.

Not sure if that answers your question....

It does - thanks. I'm reading a 100 page thread, and don't want to post until I'm done...

I think if you bookmark the page you're reading, it will take you back to that page, if not the exact post.

You can actually bookmark the last reply you read in a long thread. Just click on the reply # in the upper right, then bookmark that URL. Then when you click on that bookmark, you will go directly to that particular reply.
