Roscoe, Did Force make the Gamefisher line of motors for Sears, during the age of your outboard?

What class is that Quincy in your signature

I am way, way over my head now, but I will take a guess.

It is the Z class, or would it be the D Alky class, or would you share your wisdom with us?

I am not really sure it is a Quincy, it could also be a Parker Looper.

ST, dug around and think I found a pictire of it, theres a link. You might enjoy the site anyway. http://www.outboardracing.com/quincy.htm

I do think you found it! It seems it was a “D” class Looper.

That is a great website. :D

I am really happy to see people interested in preserving this time period of boating history.

I saw them as a kid on Lake Texoma a couple of times and was hooked, for life. They didn't do too much racing there, too big & too rough for the smaller boats I guess, but some of these old motors and boats floated around the small boat repair shops in the area for years after they were replaced with the newer models.

Wish I could find one now!

Roscoe, I was at a used (actually boats and a lot of junk - my kinda place) boat dealer and saw a motor with it's cover, that looked a lot like the one you posted. It was a Gamefisher.

It was just an off-the-wall question for me.
