I wouldn't trust it. Best to replace. Shouldn't be hard to find a dead motor with part you need.

Those are forged aluminum parts. Best to replace them. How did you break it? Did you hit something?

What Chine and Chris posted. Tried it Twice, on to different motors, With Very Best welders in MI. they never lasted a year.

Some parts of OB's can be welded and work very well for ever... However, that break is in an area that will receive a huge amount of stress and therefore I wouldn't try it myself. But like previous comments stated, those shouldn't be very hard to find. I'd replace it as well...for total piece of mind while on the water out from any help....
