All this discussion, I just have to chime in! I may tend to take things to the extreme, but the way I see things that old Toy of yours is 10 years old and probably has a few miles on it. This is a good time to buy a nice, new, shiny, full size truck that is guaranteed to handle that new boat of yours. You'll probably get a low interest rate and cash back--quite the deal.<br /><br />I'm sure plenty here will disagree, but I refuse to tow my 3000# boat with my 2002 4.7L V8 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While it could do it, I opt instead for a full size 1994 K1500 GMC P/U. The longer wheel base is so much more stable on road. This will some day soon be replaced by a 3/4 ton truck. Better safe than sorry.
