can anyone identify what this model name is ?

its a 1985 sunray. , i have been scouring the net for weeks trying to get the model name of this with no avail. anyone? already looked up the hin and does not do any good.

not sure why it matters.

its a typical mid 80's runabout

assuming its new to you. title and registration have all the information needed to register it. if you dont have title and registration. it could be yard art depending on which state you live in.

There were actually several Sunray manufacturers. Sun Ray (OH), Sun Ray (IL), Sunray (Canada), Sunray by Fiesta, and Sunray (CA). None of those have annual listings for 1985, but the last one (CA) has a couple of 20+ footers in 1984.

the boat runs and everything works except the trim . motor was not in it when bought. already have one lined up. i have already modded the boat to a bayliner dash and guages. all work just fine. as for the reason why i want more info is for my own knowledge. as for the manufacture. it came from quebec canada. and they closed down several years ago now. no model name at all on the site. but it is an 85. trailer is original to boat. princefib/sunray
