Anyone headed out this weekend needing a day pass? LMNRA is opening up for free admission this Saturday, Sunday and Monday in honor of Veteran`s Day. Enjoy, matees!

Free admission everday between 8pm till 5am lol!!!!

but just in case I will go to goodwill and find a vet hat. just kidding,seriously I totally thank god for all the vets have done to give me freedom and allowed me to go fishing instead of joining military to have a good life. Thank you men of war.

Yah I head over there when there are not a ton of people over there to let my dog run around. Usually go to swallow cove if I can get the nice beach over there.

Technically I'm not a Lake Meade boater but I'm restoring a boat that patrolled Lake Meade for almost 45 years
It's the Capt.John W. Powell a 1963 Bertram 31 Express that belonged to the Park service

Sounds like a cool project DodgeAddict and fishrdan says, we love pics. We are into the lake history also so this fits well here IMHO.

I'm sitting in front of a fire at Standing Rock Cove,Lake of the Ozarks right now. If I get a chance to I'll gather a few before to present pics & post them
I leave for SD to get tanks for a 35X65 HillBilly houseboat Weds or Thurs depending on the weather there

We've got 454's but 6BT/Dodge Cummins are coming into consideration

Custom fit 280 fuel tank set up for diesels already test fitted to the boat

Heading out Sunday morning around 6:30 to fish the wash..Heard from a guide today that stripers were 300 feet deep...Holy guacamole.....

Heading out Sunday morning around 6:30 to fish the wash..Heard from a guide today that stripers were 300 feet deep...Holy guacamole.....

I was out last week and popped an 18#er at Willow. I only had one other hit the whole night, but that's "Willow" for ya'...

I was out sunday, saw quite a few people fishing the wash, saw two get stripers trolling. We got nothing. I could only anchor and fish with anchovies in about 30 feet of water(no trolling motor on my cruiser..hehe).

But man was the lake beautiful!

Went to the new craig ranch park today! I thought for shure with its size it would have a fishn hole but I was wrong,saw hecka carp swimming around the upper pond.mostly young ones amd a few koi too.
