Dude, its not about making libs feel better, its about functioning in a social setting with some degree of decorum. You wanna come on and act like an insulting arse to people who have been here forever, feel free, but you will be called on it. It does work both ways. Your interpretation of BS does not make it BS. It's just your opinion.

Welcome Blade. There are some whiners on this message board, it's easy to ignore them. You did not insult anyone here, you only made them feel inferior. Don't worry about it.

Re: California sued over wind generators

I will say that liberals frequently represent the best side of mankind. They really think that they are saving the world. But the law of unintended consequences gets them every time. Take the wind power issue. Fossil fuels are the bain of mankind, we need wind power. OK, after much armtwisting they get the windmills. But they kill birds. Well we can't have that cuz birds are people too (yea I don't get that either but there it is). Take down the windmills and put them where they offend nobody. OK but the wind doesn't blow there so they generate no power. Then the power goes out at the ICU ward at the hospital and people die. This is clearly the fault of - drum roll please - big business. In fact they killed these people and cannot be trusted to provide power so we need the government to take over. The next thing you know they are changing the town name to New Havana.

Another thing I love is how quickly and universally they invoke Hitler. Run immediately to the nuclear analogy. This is were the ends justify the means comes from. When it all boils down all there is left is sex on demand, free abortions, and cradle to grave healthcare. Eventually they will run out of things to buy votes with. And then what do you have? France.

Are they always wrong? No, they are not necessarily stupid people, some are very smart. But when in doubt you can always know what their answer to every situation will be. It is two dimensional thinking. And since we keep re-writing history and fail to teach it in schools we are bound to end up like the Greeks or Romans. They remind me of the overprotective mother that never wants anything to ever hurt her baby. The problem is when the baby is 30 years old and he still plays with his barbie dolls. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

If Hitler never said anything that is true, I suppose it is fair to say that Marx never said anything that is true.

Yes Blade, welcome. I am sure you are a good person. I am sure, based on your demonstrated intellect, that you will have plenty to contribute to this site, unlike certain (BrettNc) people who contribute nothing intellectually and just like to stir stuff up. It never ceases to amaze how someone who has been here two minutes thinks they can insult everyone. I am confident Blade isn't really that way...Cheers.

How would that be fair?
