It's nice fishin' in the summer up north eh?! Warm weather and cool water... down here our fish are poached in 91*F water.

yes sir... fishin is good fun up here.....Lake George is wonderful.....

Northern Pike is from Hudson River...9lbs...the salmon below is from George through the ice..

Good lookin' fish, although I don't envy the "up north" part. Our water might be a smidgeon on the warm side this time of year, but our "season" is just around the corner, lol.

Not sure if you use it or not, but Photobucket is the easiest way I've found for pics. Cut-n-paste for forum responses and it's free to set-up and use. Plus, I don't have to store all the pictures on my laptop.

Keep those fish pics a-comin'. But try to post some adult fish, would you? These little young ones are cute and all, but......lol

I am also having trouble unzipping a file on a cruzer stick that I have.....lots of good photo's on there....I just can't get at them

the video with your son is funny..had he seen it on his own I bet we would have heard a much louder scream..hehe
not sure where your town is but I used to live in Kankakee Ill. way back when I was your son's age.....used to go out on the Kankakee river and get um.....not as many as you ..but we did get a few snapper's as well.....my buddy lost 2 fingers trying to pick up one of the turtles.....he learned real quick not to pick them up by their front legs.. haha
I took some video of last night ....up state Hudson River..as far north as you can go with boat....we caught small mouths and a couple of walleye.......I'll try and get it on here....
Thanks BobVT ..I saw your return.. and man those ( salmon ) were some beauties too...where do you think he was ....north of the bridge ..by Westport? outside of Burlington VT.....trying to think of the deep holes...where did I hit 410' deep with sonar..Essex .?

Man these guys fish..between Carl and the LCI boys.....make me look like a clown....geesh...

im just south of bloomington il. most of my fishing is at the clinton lake 5000 acres. the vids were from carlyle lake down east of st loius. we go down every aug to a gathering of catfisherman and spent the weekend. going here for long. gonna be using these for bait. geared up now.


little 8" bullheads and live bluegills. looking to catch these right before dawn, then maybe some channel catting.
