Well, I finally did it. Going to have a 21ft sylvan Cruise N Fish in about 2 weeks.
The prices of used are pretty damn high right now, so we ended up getting a 2021 with a 90hp Yamaha motor.
so what accessories do people recommend?? How do ya like the Yamaha motors? C94E8529-3EDA-4BD5-BDB9-32751069E515.jpegC5816C25-9CE8-42BF-8063-04626D4AD716.jpegDDCE8460-BFCA-4BDA-9AAB-8636FC31B653.jpegBD5A14B4-8F84-45D9-98F0-889E13410972.jpeg

Any recommendations for a tow bar and a propane grill? I’m looking for ideas on a grill that bolts to the fence.

check with manf of your boat for ski tow bar... i got one from Starcraft.. 2 inch stainless connects to frame under the deck and up and around the 115.. not that familiar with aftermarket stuff... very impressed with build of one I got.. of course it cost a grand... you get what u pay for

That's the issue with an OEM tow bars right there "cost a grand". That and trying to find one that will fit for your 5 year old boat - even if you were willing to spend a grand!

The issue with the aftermarket/universal types is the fact they specifically tell you not to pull a tube. That there is a good chance you'll bend the tubing, and they will NOT warranty that type of issue.

Well Monday pickup day is coming up! What are your thoughts on fenders? Anything a little more permanent for dock protection? Do you run them at all?
would be nice to have some that go out and stay out, but I did buy a set of 6 EZ fenders just in case as I find it would be optimum to at least have those equipped and ready.
ideas for better horns? (As I hear factory horns suck)
How about factory audio? How much battery is needed for adding a few powered speakers and what not?

Fenders: Buy the largest storage will allow. I hate it when boaters drag them along deployed full time. Horn: Relax your factory horn will be sufficient.

I would suggest you don't try to fix problems you don't have yet. Try it the way it comes to see what you need - if anything.

Fenders work best on the dock - the exception being when you are rafting up with other boats/toons.

Yeah I apologize, having a hard time sitting still waiting for Monday.

Not sure if it came already installed but a nice depth/GPS finder is a good option. I installed a garmin but all them are pretty good. Also as for a grill I have been using a Colman fold and go that I keep in a gym bag when not using. As people have said, don't buy some dinky boat finders, but the biggest you that you can store in the boat
