I certainly wouldn't say under propped, I'd say 'nicely propped'.

Not sure chris. He says it will hit 5000 rpm even (although the actual will be 4950 to be exact on the limiter). If he can hit the limiter then I’d guess at going up an inch or two for sure.

Haha. You know me AD. It’s entirely up to the fella. But for sure, he should know he is the opposite end of the scale of overpropped. 100%

HAHA. That's right where I like it as I never run wot unless its an emergency or checking prop as the kids go each year along with my stomach :facepalm:

I want to make sure I am not putting any undo load on the engine. According to the things I read, going to the same size stainless it should drop the rpm by 200 anyway.

Ya the 5000 I was climbing to was on the tach. I forgot to use the vessel view for the exact but close enough. It hit 4800 and was slowly climbing up when I shut it down and spent the rest of the time at 3200-3400.
