bunk reinforcing

I have a smokercraft millentia 161 on the trailer the bunks are around 8' long just wondering if this is normal to have bracket holding the bunks at the front and back only. should i try to reinforce it in the middle

This is common for your size boat. The bunks are usiually designed to flex a little to contour to the boat hull. If you add additional supports you will have to follow the contour of your existing bunks. Otherwise tou may be adding a stress point.
