Have had the boat just since spring. I squeeze the fuel line bulb before every cold start. I just noticed that there is a second bulb for the oil reservoir (my 60hp VRO has oil injection). Should I be pumping this as well? Or after I add oil to establish pressure?

Re: Bulb

For whatever reason my reservoir bulb stays hard all the time. I have never pumped it as a result and had no problems. Best of luck. I hope you enjoy your new boat. Rick.

Re: Bulb

The oil primer bulb is only used to get rid of air in the oil system. As long as you don't run the oil all the way to the bottom or have done maintenence on the oil system, you should never need to use the oil primer bulb. Only the gas primer needs to be regularly used. You should get an owners manual for the motor from outboardbooks.com.
