Got some work in on the boat this weekend, more grinding. But I'm getting close, found a few things and I was wondering if I could get a little advice on them.

This thing is in the hull on the Starboard side about 3ft. in front of the Starboard sponson. I'm assuming they plugged a hole with it, best way to patch this area?

Next, at the stern, there was a huge chunk of some sort of epoxy that I removed earlier in the demo, I think I found why. Here is what it is covering.

These look to be cracks in the fiberglass. You can see a lot of them in what looks like bilge coat, in the closeups, you can see they are still there after the coating is ground away. What is the best way to deal with this? I'm thinking putting some 1708 over top of that area wouldn't hurt, but I would like input from all of you before proceeding if these cracks are worse than I think.

This might have been my doing...

What is the best way to fix this?

Lastly, on the sides of the intake grate, I found what looks like more epoxy. It is pretty translucent and wasn't adhered very well, most of it chips right up. The bolts protruding from it are for the wood sponsons underneath. Do I need to replace this when it goes back together? I'll have to remove it in order to take the wood off and clean and reseal it.

And Happy Independence Day to everyone here at iBoats!

Does anyone have any insight on this? I'd like to know if it is repairable and what I would be looking at as far as the best route to do so. If it isn't advisable to continue this project, that would be appreciated to know as well. Thank you.
