Court Says Federal Investigators Are Entitled to Baseball Steroid Test Data

SAN FRANCISCO — With Barry Bonds still in their sights, federal investigators can now use the names and urine samples of about 100 Major League Baseball players in their steroids probe, following a ruling Wednesday from a federal appeals court.

I'm not quite sure how to react to that news. I'm sure there are some pretty nervous current and former players right now. And maybe this is the beginning of the end for MLBs antitrust exemption which is long overdue. I suppose the biggest dilemna is what to do regarding the record books.

I agree with WillyB 100%. Although a diehard Yankee fan ( I was born in New York - its the law), I'm sick of seeing juiced hitters pound them yard. What's the HOF to do with the BS HR stats put up by the likes of Mcguire, Bonds, Ortiz, ect? If inducted, doesnt that minimize the accomplishments of non-jacked players like Ruth or Arron?

Kagee, please, PLEASE, put a "blurb" in about what the "BREAKING NEWS" is about... I haven"t counted, but this is around the 4th thread with the same heading... I'm surprised Iboats hasn't turned toes up from the confusion.... :p
