Bottom paint question!

I purchased a 2012 25ft AuqaPatio brand new last June, had it in the water for just over 3 months. I was told by the dealer that I would have to have the toons repainted with antifouling again before I put it back in the water this season. Is this normal, or am I being taken for a ride?? Thanks for any advise!

He is right. If you leave the boat in the water you need to paint. Electrolysis can and will eat the logs. Not to mention the crap that gets on them. Salt water makes it worse. So have them painted properly.

Fresh water, maybe not. Salt water absolutely!
