Regal is done. The kid sanded and buffed the tower, but he didn't take any pics of the bimini top before taking it off. That was fun putting back on! Oh well, I've done it loads of times. Even if you take 1000 pics, you'll still end up missing something that's just out of frame.

Sorry I haven't been posting, I've been busy. I've been working on an Allison bass boat. Nothing major, just clean up type stuff. I buffed the bottom and sanded out a lot of scratches, now it's on a dolly to get some minor gouges on the cap fixed and fill the hole from where the pole anchors were mounted.

I've also been working on my truck after work, front suspension rebuild.

The owner of this, if I heard the boss correctly, is going to be scattering his mother's ashes in a lake from this. I like it.

Heck yeah! I scattered some of my Dads ashes in a lake and some under one of my treestands last fall. Must have brought me luck I got both my deer from that stand last season, and got my personal best largemouth from that lake a few weeks ago.

We take our people with us on all trips, even to other countries. Have had some interesting conversations with TSA.

I've been working on a Tige this week. A tree fell on the tower. It seems I didn't get a picture of the tower, but the bimini top is smashed in and there's a dent in the frame tube on the starboard side. I'm surprised it didn't bust the windshield.

Tige is a high end brand, no? Also, when you see bad manufacturing, or at least a bit better, do you ever just do the small stuff or on bigger stuff call the mgf?

lets say you have a cleat that was just screwed in. Do you back plate it when you have it out?
Only if it's something we might get blamed for. Like if we take a light out and it doesn't work when we test it. Sometimes I'll find butt connectors that have come apart, away from where I cut or unplugged it. We'll fix it, because if we don't then people will still try to blame us for it. Happens all the time.

former co-worker (BASS fishing guy) had an Allison. that is a fast hull with 300hp. 105mph to get to the fishing holes. they do not like rough water as they are tail heavy
