Boat Wrap

So, I’m looking to get my boat wrapped. Was wondering if anyone knew the prep for one. Will they strip the wax?
I ask because it needs to be de-oxidized for sure but should I continue with polish and wax? Can get by with using just an oxidation remover? I guess I could ask the installers but they are closed right now. HA.

We had our company truck wrapped a few years ago. No prep was needed but they asked us to wash it before dropping it off. It still looked good after 4 years outside.
