exactly....a red ryder bb gun is considered a "firearm" in our borough...
ralphie would'a been arrested...😳
I feel sorry for where you live. Knowing those things, I choose to live in areas where shooting is legal. Even in our areas, the shooter is fully responsible for his projectile, no matter where it lands. I actually search for such laws when I move or build. On my road, every household has a shooting range out in the north forty so to speak. Everyone is very respectfull of shooting times, no early morning or late night, unless preditor control. In fact when you do hear a neighbor shooting, that is a sign to grab your gear and come join in.

ok...good for you...sundance...
I don't really care what you feel, or claim about your markmanship....

the op wanted a solution for squirrels around and in his boat.
If he wants to start pinging away at the squirrels around his boat, his call.

Before dispatching any squirrels it would be a good idea to know your local game laws.....in some areas they are considered game animals with seasons and bag limits......if a nosey neighbor called the game warden you could be looking at stiff penalties/fines if out of season or over the bag limit or no hunting license.....

If a person on here hasn't already figured this into their strategy how can they even operate a boat..

Why not use some rat poison? You can get the pink stuff that will kill them in one feeding. A squirrel would likely eat that as well as rats and mice.

You could give this a try, Moen's Mouse Mix. https://mousemix.us/
It's an all natural pest deterrent. We used it in our camper and it works really well. They don't say it works on squirrels but it might be worth a try. You can get on Amazon or directly from Moen's.
