My Steering cable broke, how do I get the shaft end off, the cable part came out easy I just kept spinning the Wheel, the other end (Engine) is what I'm not sure about. Thanks
The cable comes with the casing and steering rod...... you undo the steering linkage, take of the big nut and slide the shaft end and casing out. At the helm is a similar nut ...... undo that and remove the entire piece. (Unless you had rack steering)
The Metal cable inside that has the jacket over it came out easy,it's the other end with the little rod that you connet to the steering linkage I couldn't get loose or do I replace the whole piece, Rubber jacket and all?
