Boat Registration # help.

Im not sure if Im calling this the right thing or not. Im trying to figure out if my boat is "licensed / registered"! I cant remember if I registered it last year or not. So, I thought maybe someone here could help me.
The number Im talking about is on the side of the actual boat, not the trailer. I have a 14' Alumaweld. I live in the state Arkansas.
Is there anyway, by looking at the numbers on the side of the boat, to tell if Im good to go, or if I need to get to the DMV before I head out to the water?

Umm...can't you call the BMV and ask them if you registered it? In Indiana I have to register it every year and apply a registration sticker next to the numbers. The registration sticker shows the expiration date on it.

Not sure about Arkansas, but here in MO we have both the registration numbers (MO 1234 AB) and an additional sticker that has the year of expiration printed on it. Mine just expired yesterday and I applied the new sticker last night so I will be legal tomorrow when I visit the great state of Arkansas.

Arkansas has an "annual" sticker like we do here in TN. Next to your registration numbers on the side of your boat, you should have a colored sticker with a year on it. That year is the last year you can boat legally registered. If you're not displaying that sticker, I'm surprised you haven't gotten cited.
