Hello everyone,
I am new here, i just bought what i believe to be an old eldo * Craft smackover ark aluminon boat. I am having trouble finding anything online about the boat or where i can even look it up. The previous owner said the boat was at his house when he bought it 15 years ago. I am able to find the foiled sticker with a model number and serial number but that is all i have. Is there anything i can do with this information? I can not seem to find the hull number just model and serial #'s. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? i know boats after 1972 were given hull numbers is it possible my boat is older than that and if so how do i procced? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is no registry for model & serial #s

What state are you in?

Ask governing body (DMV, Fish&Wildlife, etc) about abandoned boats.

Seller probably didn't have the right to sell it w out legal paperwork &/or applying for abandoned boat.

Me? I'd demand a refund and drag a derelict untitled boat back to him.

No refund? Drag the boat back to him anyway

I'd call it more of a project. Not something you're going to get done in a hurry. What needs to be done is going to depend on where you live. Start with some sort of bill of sale from the guy that gave it to you.
