Boat leans starboard while on plane.

Hi fellas. I have an 89 Sea Ox 200D with a 2000 evinrude 225. The problem I’m having is that when I get up on plane the boat travels leaning starboard. It’s very noticeable. The weight distribution on the boat is pretty even, and shifting weight port side has little to no effect on the lean. The motor seems pretty centered and vertical on the transom. I don’t feel any vibrations when trying even wide open. The only thing is the skeg on the OB is bent port side about 1 inch. Could this be the cause of the issue?

Unless I need more coffee, the bent skeg should help counteract the starboard lean -- depends how it's bent, I suppose.

You may need a set of trim tabs -- would find an improvement in economy as well.

My thoughts exactly on the bent skeg to the port side Counteracting the starboard lean, But to me it didn’t seem like it was such a bend that could have such a big affect on the boat attitude. I didn’t think about a set of trim tabs.

Tabs are costly, but a good addition imo. (And another gadget to play with.)
