Let me start by saying I know absolutely nothing about boats! I purchased some property and the seller left this boat behind. I have searched for the HIN but can’t seem to find it anywhere, therefore I was wondering if someone could help identify what type of boat this is? Second question...is this a restoration project worth embarking on? Not super concerned about the cost, but more curious if I’m looking at a craft that needs to be put out to pasture? Thanks in advance.

Haha, agreed. I’m in the middle of nowhere so the pictures didn’t load, hopefully this time.F4FF199E-C856-4A77-A924-8DF736C9BD55.jpegF104C0F4-3900-4AB5-85B3-0139F9FC9099.jpegFC7D0BE8-DDA4-4FDB-9D56-6CB9613187B4.jpeg

Late 60's or pre 1972 with no antique, classic, or collectors value. Hundreds of now out of business makers made similar boats in this time frame. Just trying to get it all registered without a paperwork trail could be just as difficult as restoring it would be. If it was a rusted out 1969 Mercury Comet without an engine would you see any need to spend money restoring it. Same thing.

without paperwork, the boat isnt yours, even if its on your property

as stated above, no value.

best use for the boat.

It's junk. There's a reason the guy left it in the field. Fill it with soil and plant potatoes in it.

Depends on your location for the paperwork.------But a boat like that is easy to repair / restore.-----You could even make it better and stronger than it was new.-----But it won't be cheap.------Depends on what you want !

Don't leave the Evinrude control in there if you trash it. It's worth something to somebody.

Same goes for that windshield if the frame work is good. A friend of mine looked for a while to find one for a similar boat that was his dads and he restored.
