Are these bunk brackets reliable??? This is my first lift I am buying for my boat and it just doesn't seem like they will hold the boat up... I also need to cut those poles down so they dont dig into the sand... they a little to long.
You might want to check the bunks closely to make sure the wood is solid and not rotted. They look normal visually.
You might want to talk to an installer to see how deep the poles need to be in the sand. Sometimes you want such poles sticking up to keep your boat from running into a dock, or to keep your boat in place.
