Boat budget question

Yeah I'm doing handyman work to cover booze and boats, and she doesnt go with me much so downsized to this plus too old to launch 26 footers by myself. Wife still works it's just the pending finality of it all. First time I've been this old and wasn't expecting to get here.

26feet.....my boat is 4.2m ....like half that . My previous boat was just 2 feet longer and Im surprised just how much of a difference that made ....wish Id never sold it now .

this 18 foot [5.5m] is perfect size. If it get to be too much for me i'm out of the boat business and will sit on the bank and drink my beer and nap there.
