Just thought I'd share this carnage...unfortunately we blew one of our SEI lowers out last week. Under warranty, so we'll be getting a replacement soon. We think it threw the pinion gear right into the housing.

The pic looks like the something hit it from the outside not the inside going out. Probably an illusion, and glad its SEI they do stand behind their drives

It looks bashed in, rather than blown out to me too,....

It sure looks like it was pushed in by something, but no scrape marks.

Definetly not the best angle, here is a further away shot but if you zoom way you can see the fresh aluminum exposed from the pushed out piece. I sent the unit back today so no other pictures, but it was pushed out pretty good.



The guys at SEI seem pretty good, they will get the lower on friday and hopefully send out a replacement early next week.
