Re: Blisters

There are a lot of threads on this site that you might could refer to, including this one:

http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=496068&highlight=repair+blisters+gel+coat

ON this thread, you had several experienced guys (and a couple of folks who do this for a living) kicking around this topic... I think the experienced guys are definitely going to ask you to post some pics so they can see the extent of the blisters and get an idea of what you are looking... (so let's start there)... Based on what I have read, blister repair can be a very involved process, so in some cases the advice is to "leave it alone" if it is not that bad... I think the reason they give that advice is that once you peel back the onion, you start discovering more and more...

Again, post some pics and some of the very helpful, more experienced guys will try and steer in you the right direction...

In the meantime, you can do a search on "gel coat blister repair" and you will see several threads pop up...including the one I referenced above.

Hope this helps...

Re: Blisters

Definetly need pics. Blisters are tricky and without seeing them it's very difficult for anyone to guide you to the correct solution. Could be easy could be difficult. Pics will tell the tale. Use a quarter or a dime in the pics for reference and get close ups as well as ones further away. We need to get an overall perspective of the total issue.
