cleaning up the boat and noticed a cup of water in the stern corner/ engine compartment. sopped up with a towell and now theres a black mark there. should i not use bleach for fear of damage to fiberglass?
I keep an old Windex spray bottle with some bleach in it, spray it right on the mildew or stain, let it sit for a while, rinse it off. Works great for a lot of things in and around the boat, as well as the house. Good Luck!
Chlorine bleach is not a cure-all for any dirt or stain that you find. Why not try a conventional cleaner first? I find that Marine Spray Nine works really well but many other cleaning products work. "Awesome" is a brand of pretty inexpensive, but effective cleaner.
