Google would be your friend if there had been any leaks for upcoming BF deals. Highly doubtful that a big ticket item like that would be on discount.

Best bet is to hope for some gift cards to help you offset the cost :)

Without newspapers anymore and many of us staying away from social media, hard to know what is on sale. Been shopping for tires, haven't saw any sales, nor do I know where to look !!

I have always had good luck with the TireRack
Of course I change my own tires but you may find someone to put your own tires on if need be.
Guys around here soak you for install if you don’t buy from them.

At my age changing my own tires is in the past. Mail order tires can be shaky if you have tire issues. So far Walley World has beat everyone on brand name tires, but to say it is a sale ???

My work has a discount card for one of our regional tire chains (happens to be an installer for TireRack). Between that and a $50 rebate from Pirelli, it knocked about the cost of a tire off my bill. That was last week so there may still be a rebate from Pirelli tires on a set of 4.

**Took a $1300 bill down to $1087. Tires are 265/60R18 Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3.

When I was searching, most local tire shops were within a couple $ of each other on the price of the tire and installation costs.

Those are my same findings... Thus the reason I mentioned, no real sales, just sales pitches.

West marine has higher prices than most. But they do match prices with true brick n mortar stores within a 50 mile radius. For me down here, Hodges Marine is 45 miles away.

As for trolling motors, sites like Bass Pro, etc would be what I look at. Even Amazon. Expect the price during the time leading up to Black Friday to slowly go up for an artificial "savings"

Additionally, most manufacturers make a special Black Friday SKU. A de-featured unit at a lower price. This is the MO with most things as Walmart and the big box stores. So carefully check the SKU number

West marine is normally high but...on some things they are very competitive or even less. They were much cheaper on some hardware and my winch that I bought last season. On my Fulton winch, they were 50 bucks less than anyplace ! Never know for sure unless you check !
