I have looked at ways to make it a bit more stable.
It moves around quite a bit when hitting wakes or rough water.
Thought about bringing the two straps together in the center, then running one strap down to the splash well, but it would hit both the rear seat, and the main motor when tilted up.
I am currently working on adding a brace to the front bow tube.
It will attach on the top port side of the tube, and angle down and in, attaching to the center console.
I use the port side of the center console for cooler and rod storage, so I can't walk through on that side anyway.
Oh, and I only deploy the top when it is brutally hot, or if I am fishing in an all day rain. So, not very much.
I am using these quick release pins on the mounts.
Makes moving, or completely removing the top a snap.
