Bilge Pump Questions!

hey,

I just bought a small bilge pump for my 16 foot tri-hull. now i have to install it...i got the plumbing package with it. so how do i install it?

Follow the directions! But if you have no instructions, a bilge pump does you no good unless it is installed in the lowest point in the bilge. Connect the hose to the pump, route it up to a point on the side of the boat well above the water line to a through-hull fitting or over the stern. Connect the wires to ground and the switch and you are all set.

Be careful how you mount it..If there was an existing bilge you should mount it in the same spot.. If not you can glass in a small piece of plywood and mount to that. Or if you try mounting directly to hull, use very small screws..

okay so where should i mount it? right next to the plug? or right where the water under the floor will seep into the deck?

and how should i mount it to the floor?
