Best Gasket Sealant?

I am getting ready to assemble my 120 after painting. Will ya'll recommend a gasket sealant for sealing the gaskets between the adaptor and the powerhead?

You asked for the best. That would be Evinrude/Johnson/BRP Gasket Sealant. Or Mercury's Perfect Seal #4.

i believe the manual calls for no sealent not sure .
but i hope not because i just put mine on dry
