Hardee's makes the best hamburger. They call the thing a "6-dollar" burger, but it costs $4 or $5 or (don't remember). They use lean, real hand-made ground beef patties "mmmmm....Patties!"

EE
Whats ya doing starting another thread when you havent even made a remark this week in your LOST series! Bad Sean! :)

JB
Subway seafood on wheat.
That proves you do have a since of humor! ;)

KnotAddicted
Pretty much agree with your choices. Haven't had them in several years but I seem to remember Micky Dees as having some pretty good fries also.

My Choice
There used to be a Hoagy's Corner that made fresh Killer roast beef sandwiches on sour dough bread, everything on it and hot to go, into my tummy!

7 blank blank 11 bought them out and shut them down. Employees of the new 7/11 had to sign waviers that they would not disclose how any of the sandwiches were made or go into the same fast food field for X number of years.

One of the employees waited and opened Hoagies Corner Sub Deli several years later. Got sued by 7/11 and had to drop the Corner off the name.

Then 7/11 took him to court two more times and lost both times. He sold the business 5 years later and retired at the age of 45.
So now we have the only Hoagys Corner left on the west coast a 1/2 mile from here :D
Will be doing roast beef on sour dough tonight!

Assuming that I get off the puter and go pick them up as I just ordered them before reading this post!

Yada,yada,yada.
For those of you who are blessed with a WEGMANS grocery store, they have easily the best submarine in the north east.It gets made fast but the very thought of fast food is nowhere near the freshness and quality of this superb product.

You all need to go to New Jersey or New York for a sub...You know ...Where they actually cut the innards right on the spot.....Before your very eyes....Try Driftwood Deli in Toms River,N.J....Good Stuff.....That's the problem with this country....Everyone becomes so indunated on corporate crap that you forget about the good stuff, I'd rather eat at Mc Donald's than eat Subway swill!....And that goes for Quizno's, Applebee's, Red Lobster...Ad infinitum, Ad nauseum, YUCK....JK
I have to agree about Subway, all the waxy meats, and the misleading advertising. Comparing apples (their subs with NO condiments) to oranges (burgers with lots of mayo.) If they wanted to compete they would compare their subs with similar condiments to the burger chains, or the burgers with no condiments. But then their subs wouldn't look so good in comparison. Then again, I don't think their fillings-prepared-last-week look too good anytime. I loved Blimpies subs especially their “Best”, cut fresh when you ordered, on bread made that day (And not soggy like the subterranean sandwich chain).

As for my favorite now, would have to be a local sandwich shop Daddy Macs Sub Shack “Big Daddy.”

Does anyone remember when subway would cut a V shape lengthwise across the bun, so you would have a wierd wedge shape as the top peice of the sandwich? I literaly couldnt eat it, as nothing would stay in the bun. Even now their bread sucks.....and I am a bread sort of guy.

Mancino's pizza and Grinders....Are the best for subs...
Taco bell has recently changed their Nacho Chips which are alot better now.Spicy Chicken burritos my favorite.
Hamburgers.....Either Wendys because I know its fresh(not sitting under a heat lamp for hours) or Rally's/Checkers make good burgers and great seasoned fries.
Mcd's only for breakfast sammich.....Top notch.

Now Im hungry again.

Not fast food, but the best overall pizza is a place called "Old Chicago's" in Peoria Il......Making a trip there in the winter with full intentions of eating there as much as possible.
