I am doing a restoration on a 1974 SleekCraft. Needs new Stringers, flooring seats upholstery...list goes on. I have removed the Transom assembly and the Jet pump but can't seem to get the Intake assembly out. I have removed every bolt and nut on the deck side of the assembly, ground all of the sealant and fiberglass away on the deck side and removed all sealant material on the hull side but still can't free the intake. Do I need to cut away the fiberglass of the transom and slide the intake out or should I be able to simply lift it out. This is my first renovation on a jet boat so I am a little lost.

Thanks in advance.

Don't pry on it it will snap like glass.look on sidewinder forum or jet boat to find what you need.A guy I know busted the crud out of his by trying to pry it out.He cut it out and bought a different boat to cut out and replace.
