Bent Prop Shaft

I am new to this site so forgive me if i am asking an easy question. I have a 1998 Ocean runner 150 (J150execd), it appears the prop shaft is bent and I noticed some water in the lower unit while canging the gear oil. The bent shaft is pretty noticeable even without the prop on. I am assuming the water is intruding from the prop shaft seal, so the question is do I have to remove lower unit to get the shaft out? Do I need special tools? Should I replace all lower unit seals or just shaft seal? I am fairly mechanically inclined but is this a job for the pros? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Bent Prop Shaft

I think you need long snap ring removers.
Maybe a machine shop could straighten the shaft and true it up.

the biggest thing is the factory service manual, the genuine one, not clymer or seloc.
