I'm thinking about buying a 2008 Bennington tritoon with a 200hp Yamaha. Boat has less than 60 hours of which about 30 has been in saltwater. Owner says he always cleans boat and dunks the galvanized trailer. How important is the "Saltwater Anode Package" with this boat. I plan to never have it in salt water.

If you never plan on having it in saltwater, you should not need to do anything except normal maintenance.

A good scrubdown or powerwash on the underside and a nice maiden voyage in fresh water will look after all you need to do.

That boat is so fast that salt can't stick to it. lol

I think that you will be fine after a good freshwater washdown. Enjoy!

I would want to see the toons where the trailer bunks contact them. Just to make sure there is not corrosion in that area....
