Bell housing to gimbal ring side to side play

'73 prehistoric Alpha......The one where the hinge pins have their own little pins....<br />What is considered acceptable tolerance for side to side play? Are the plastic/fiber washers still available? It is pretty tight but I would prefer no side to side at all....If so, anyone got a part #?<br />I picked up a fresh water bell housing off ebay & I'm gonna replace bellows/shift cable/bell housing.......Also what is considered acceptable up & down play in the shift shaft coupler assy.?<br />Thanks.....JK

12-38000 Without sender or 12-72498 with I think either will work for you
