Hey all. So i got a question. I have a 86 yamaha 115 outboard 2 stroke and i turned on my boat on muffs to check the water impeller that was installed and it seems to work fune but then i heard a siren ( beep) noise coming from my throttle control box. Does anyone know why there is a beeping noise?
Thanks

Last person i bought i from unpluged the oil pump and he said he premixed due to not trusting the oil pump
And as far as hot yes it was getting hot and thats when the siren went off and i killed the engine then. Water was coming out of pee hole and it was hot water then cool water. Had it on water muffs

Test it in a barrel to see if alarm goes off. If oil system was not properly done it could be low oil alarm on engine oil tank. You cannot just unplug the oil pump on boat side tank to bypass.

Yeah because the guy previously that had this boat had unplug the oil pump and he seemed to went all summer without having any issues with an alarm but when the year was about over with he knows the alarm came on and shut the engine off
