Hi,
I'm new to both boating and this site, but really enthusiastic about what I'm finding on this site. What a great resource and community!
I recently was gifted by my father his 84 bayliner capri (17' I believe). The boat runs great, and I suspect their is some floor rot and unfortunately maybe some transom rot, but I'll save that for another day.
What I need to figure out, is there is a piece of wood with the upohlstry behind that covers the 6" or so section between the engine cover and the stern of the boat. That is missing from the boat, and so I am trying to understand what that piece is called, and how I can go about acquiring a new one?
Thanks,
Rybob1
