Battery charger output?

How would you test it? I've got one that I wonder if it is working. The amp guage on the unit is not reacting like I think it should.

Hook it up to a battery and check the output voltage.

Hook it up to a battery and check the output voltage.

Make sure the battery is good.

A bad battery can throw off your reading - both on a VOM and on the charger's gauge.
