I've posted posted more updates to the Batboat blog. I am almost to the point where the deck goes in. Almost all the hard parts are done. It all depends on the weather.

A week's worth of updates have been added to the Batboat blog. Start at "July 21st" and go up.

Fiberglass resin finally arrives here tomorrow and I can get to work on putting in the deck.

I am on my way out to get breakfast tacos and 1 inch stainless screws.

The transom section of the deck goes in today as long as it does not rain.

I'll check out the blog next, but just so you know, it has been my DREAM since childhood to have that boat. I can think of no greater thing.

A great deal of progress was made in August.

The below picture is from under the deck as I look for gaps before installing it in.

HI. Been doing a lot lately. The hull is ready to put sealer on then I paint. Problem is that the male trees decided to attract scale insects and are blowing honeydew around the yard! I bough some denatured alcohol and mineral spirits to scrub the hull down in between each coat I paint.

Lots of updates are at my blog since I last posted here last October. I hope to have the painting done by the end of the month.

Thanks for the Batboat inspirational poster image. Where did you get it?
