Bad engine coupler or spun prop hub?

I've had weeds wrapped around the prop that made it behave similarly. Shouldn't, but did.

Or picked up someone's careless garbage bag. Been there!

The known good prop I have available is a stainless 4 blade 14.125”x20 pitch. It currently has black max aluminum 3 blade 21 pitch 14.25”. If the stainless prop works would there be any problem keeping it on if it doesn’t trip the rev limiter and stays in WOT range? I didn’t know that you’re supposed to go down 2 pitch when going from 3 to 4 blade.
