Appreciate the words, thanks
Last night was not good. Our friend the nurse said I should be taking the meds for the first 5 days, but at least 3. She says this is to keep down the swelling. About 5 hours before bed I started feeling some pain. Not a lot so figured I'm good. Couple hours later, its still increasing and I'm just sitting in the recliner.
This is a same type pain before the surgery but not as bad. Decide to take a Valium and wait. About another hour and its getting pretty bad, but paper work says not to take Hydrocodone at same time as Valium, so decide to get in bed. It eases only a bit. After several hours I get back up and take a Hydro, and its pretty bad.
Get back in bed, and nothing is easing, wondering if the pills are working. I get up again and get an ice pack and sit in the recliner, then another 30 minutes switch to heat. I'm starting to get those sweats again which is what happens when I'm getting close to passing out. I take a Hydro and and readjust, then after a time it starts to ease up. With it easing I'm starting to feel like a slug again, guessing its from the Valium and Hydro.
That was 430 this morning. Its now almost 11 and things are getting back to ok again. Sure wish I didn't have to take the drugs but sure don't want to go thru that again. Have not been able to get the Dr office to call me back about the drugs, so going to call again
