Re: AX Men

I watched about 3 minutes of this show last weekend and when the father (water logger) opened his mouth I knew the show was not worth the time.
Struck me as a really rude putz.

Re: AX Men

just because he set it on the ball and not over doesn't necesarily mean staged. I seen a guy do that with a race car trailer. he hooked up his trailer and proceded to drive the car up. as the car was going on the trailer it sprang off the hitch and up in the air.
this was a guy who hooks up trailers two or three times a week. sometimes things just happen.
I hadn't seen him physically hook it up as I was about 20 feet away or I certainly would have said something.

Re: AX Men

Did anyone Tivo this? Should make a video and post it here for a "Not how to hook up a trailer"

I've been watching Axmen for a while. I've been hooked.

History.com to watch it if you want. It hasn't made it to Canada yet. This must be episode #2 since I saw#1 and don't remember that.

Edit
Just watched it online. Total setup. They a camera on the truck and the trailer.

Re: AX Men

this really is a soap opera. It takes 3 shows to tell one story.

Like that big log the guy from LA is trying to get.

It probally took him 2 or 3 real days to get it. but he was been messing with that log for what seems like a whole season.

They just emblesh everything so much, and reshow the same footage to recap what happened, that nothing happens in an eposode.

Re: AX Men

ok just for clarification........What exactly does it take to sink a toon? What exactly clarifies a sunk boat? S&S had their toon under water several times in two episodes maybe I need to rethink my opinions of toons? What I wonder is, is it normal to have that many a**holes in one industry or do these producers just go out of there way to locate the biggest ones in an industry and put a camera in front of them? I understand the need to be stern with an employee from time to time but if this is normal for the logging industry I'm happy I landed where I did!

I really think they went out of their way to find some "colorful characters" to make a show interesting. I agree, you couldn't pay me enough to work for some of these so-called "professionals". Can you imagine being the camera guy on S&S's 'toon? I hope he's making some big bucks....

The company I work for Is going to be on that show and ya most of it is staged. The real logging is going on in the back ground and they put the clowns up front for entertainment. We lost two p/u engines and a few run over chain saws just for the entertainment of the audience.

No I am not on the show but get to fix the entertainment factor.
