G. day<br />My experiance with oil injection systems <br />Johnson evinrude VRO. I have seen heaps of failures and would not trust it.<br />Mercury autoblend. have only seen over oiling but still would not use it.<br />Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki mechanical pump. I have seen 2 failures on Yams in 20 years no failures on any other mechanical pump<br />Pre mix. I have seen many failures when people pre mix fuel<br />If I had a 1993 135HP mercury I would not even consider disconnecting the oil injection!

I bought a used Mercury Auto Blend at a rummage (garage, yard or whatever you want to call it) sale a few years ago. Hooked it up to my 9.9HP Evinrude and has worked perfectly. I hated having a second gas tank in my boat. The built in tank was for my 75HP OI Mariner and the second I premixed for my kicker. Got the Auto Blend, tied it into the main fuel tank and viola, the second tank is now gone. As long as I see a little exhaust coming from my kicker, no worries.
