It's officially the last day of summer in my book. Pulled the boat off the slip this evening, and will spend most of tomorrow winterizing and prep for storage. I also winterized the bike today.
Seems like I just put the boat in. I guess nothing to do now but look forward to next year!

:eek:Ohh, now there is a four letter word I don't like in any way. I'm glad I held on before winterizing our boat. This weekend it suppose to be in the mid to upper 70's, sunny and waves forecasted to be 2ft or less. This might just be the last outting. Hopefully we can limit out on perch.

we will stay in the slip here all winter. day temps run in the 40's in the coldest part of the winter with nights in the 30's.
can get lower but not often and not for long. last year the lake temp got down to 50 but i don't remember it going lower.

Actually, for some of us, the "End of Summer" means we can finally get out
on our boats and not fear for de-hydration! It's this time of the year and
forward that makes it all worthwhile - living in Florida, that is.

Don't worry. I'll enjoy my boat & bike enough for both of us for the next 5-6months:D
