I think he's talking about a .22 cal barrel, dd.
They make 'em for inexpensive practice.
By the way I have a number of pistols that I have used for hunting...some single shot big caliber, and some revolver big caliber. And, one little Ruger 22autostanlesssteelpistol...Originally posted by dogsdad:
I'm a handgunner too, but I ain't tellin' how many of what I have. I'll just say "plenty!" A few rifles too.

I'd like to see rolmops's "FN .38 Special." Never heard of an FN-made revolver. I'd like to see that 22-foot barrel that goes on his .45, too.I think he musta meant 22-inch!

Rolmops, where did you come up with a 22-inch barrel for a .45 Auto??
-dd-

I think you're right Chief---it's just a typo ( ' instead of . ). I also note that someone else mentioned a 16-1/2" carbine attachment for a 1911, so a 22" kit wouldn't be all that outlandish.

I suspect the "FN .38 Special" is a .380 Auto. Another possibility is that it's chambered in .38 Auto. I can find no reference anywhere to an FN-made revolver, and the only autoloaders I know of that fire .38 Special are the Smith & Wesson Model 53 and a variation or two of Colt's Gold Cup.

Bomar's collection sounds nice. He's even got a .41 Magnum, the symbol of a discriminating shooter!I think he's talking about a .22 cal barrel, dd.
They make 'em for inexpensive practice.
By the way I have a number of pistols that I have used for hunting...some single shot big caliber, and some revolver big caliber.
