Anything wrong with Insert Image button functionality on the thread editor?

Guys,

I am trying to upload a picture to a reply thread and I am following the same steps I followed before but the user interface is not responding.

When you click on Insert Image button, a screen appear as usual with From Computer and From URL tabs. From Computer allows you to select files from your local file system but when I click on Select Files, nothing happened!!

I tried 3 different browsers and had the same exact results. Anyone else experiencing this issue or it is just my machine acting up?

Doesn't work for me.
It never has.

I scroll down just below the reply box, and select the "Go Advanced" button on the right.

Then scroll down to the "Manage Attachments" button in the center of the page, about half way down.

A pop up window will open, in the upper right hand corner is a "add files" button.

Click the add files button, which will give you a "choose file" button.

Find your file on your computer, click "choose". You can choose up to 5 images to upload.

Click "upload".

Then click the "insert inline" on the bottom of the window.

Then "done" to close the window.

This will put a clickable thumbnail in your post.

I actually had the same problem yesterday and I thought it was me. I never had the problem in the past. I will let IT know.

This approach ends up throwing an error..

You can do it but you have to click on the basic uploader link.

Yes, the SELECT FILES button does not work - just tested.

Remember Toneeees I am running Chrome.

still nothing, I have tried at home and work using the "select files" also tried using the basic uploader and that failed as well

I'm not sure what the issue is, I've uploaded and inserted images thru attachments. When you select the image icon, and it pops up the window with "Select Files" click "Basic Uploader" select your file, then click upload files. It inserts the image into the post automatically. I'm using Google Chrome as well.

Nothing has been changed that would effect this, I'm not sure if "Select Files" ever worked or was ever meant to be clickable.

Well it is now working ONLY if I switch to the "Basic Uploader" Yes, it used to work fine.

It's doing it again, even switching to basic uploader allows for selecting files but will not upload when upload is selected. I'm running IE10 on a 64bit computer

Haven't heard anything, I still cannot upload, just finished trying. Anyone else still having trouble?

both basic uploader and the File Upload Manager (from the advanced -> attachements) fail to upload the file with error. I noticed that only the moderators have no problem with this; could it be a access level issue. Moderators, would you please try from a less previledged account that is similar to ours?

It has worked for years up until a few weeks ago.

The Basic Uploader works to load one picture at a time.

For me the basic up loader is a roll of the dice, it doesn't work often then it does
